NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS: Possible Submissions of One or More Community Development Block Grant Applications
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
The Village of Lincoln Heights will hold two public hearings on April 8, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. and April 22, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Heights Municipal Building, 1201 Steffen Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45215 for the purpose of hearing public comments on the community development needs of Lincoln Heights, and to discuss the possible submission of one or more Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications for the 2024, 2025 and 2026 program years. The CDBG program is administered by the Community Development Department of Hamilton County, Ohio, and will make funds available to eligible local governments for housing, economic development, public facilities, public infrastructure, and planning activities, with the principal purpose of benefitting low/moderate income persons. The first hearing held on April 8, 2024 will provide further information about the CDBG program and will allow for citizen participation in the development of any proposed grant applications and/or to provide technical assistance to develop alternate proposals. Comments on the CDBG program or proposed project(s) will received at this time. The second hearing will review the projects that Lincoln Heights intends to submit to Hamilton County for funding. The hearings are being conducted pursuant Section 570.486, Subpart I of the CFR and in compliance with the requirements of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended.If special accommodations are needed for persons with disabilities, those with hearing impairments, or those in need of translation from English, those individuals should contact Lisa Randolph, Clerk of Council, at councilclerk@vlho.org or at (513) 733-5900, at least one week in advance of the hearing date to allow for necessary arrangements.
